The hip hop scene has BARELY been sayin' much lately and has been disappointing to say the least. I've really been into this kinda 'contemporary' music lately though, along with those 'kings of leon' dudes. This is 'francis and the lights'...enjoy

Made a trip to the barbershop today. While in the chair my barber and I started small talkin' about summertime, music, kicks, the regular ish. The talk progressively turned into a heart to heart and had both of us sharing personal stories about just life in general. The main thing i took away from our conversation was just to keep it real...ALL THE TIME and you can never go wrong. word to Bun B

How I've Neglected Thee

i told myself i wouldn't but i did... so my last post was, hmmm april ??th, pretty despicible... i know.

 

Anyway, this past weekend i was kickin' at my homeboy's crib. Me and my boy P were sharing my ipod, and he fell asleep with it in his hand, and WHO am i to reach in his hand and take it (It's a guy thing). So i listened to all the good and bad on my playlist, and i came across this song that i totally didn't know that i had.

It's by Peter Bjorn & John off their album, 'living thing'. The albums pretty fresh, it's a new sound compared to their last album and not to mention a new sound compared to everything else that i've been listening to. these guys are also featured on Drakes newest mixtape 'so far gone'
